Following Publication of the Ryan Report
As Presentation Sisters, it is a cause of deep pain to us that children suffered while in our care. We acknowledge and regret the pain, suffering and trauma experienced by these children. We offer our deepest apology and ask for forgiveness. We commit ourselves to provide additional support for those who suffered and to do all in our power to bring about healing.
During this time of Pentecost, we ask God’s Spirit for healing, forgiveness and reconciliation for all.
