Presentation School in Vasco
Presentation Sisters in Vasco started a branch of the Open School in 1992 to help youth find a way to decent living. The Sisters had observed that large numbers of youth in the port town of Goa, Marmagao, were involved in anti-social behaviours and the school was started to provide a second chance to students who for various reasons drop out of the regular education system.

Congratulations to Fraynework
Congratulations to Fraynework Multimedia who design and host the Presentation Sisters Union website. They just won the "official honoree" distinction for the 12th annual Webby Awards - the equivalent of the Oscars for websites. Fraynework received this prestigious award for two web sites in the Religion and Spirituality section: for the Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia and for RESource, which is an online learning initiative for the Catholic Education Office, Melbourne.
