Reflecting Together
In 2005 the Congregational Leadership Team invited Sisters from the three Irish Provinces and England, born since 1950, to come together to share something of their dreams, hopes, and concerns as they prepared for the Congregational Gathering of 2006. The meeting was such an uplifting experience that the group has continued to meet at least twice a year.

World Environment Day - 5 June 2008
World Environment Day, commemorated each year on 5 June, is one of the principal vehicles through which the United Nations stimulates worldwide awareness of the environment and enhances political attention and action. The World Environment Day slogan for 2008 is Kick the Habit! Towards a Low Carbon Economy.

Feature Film on the life of Nano Nagle
NANO NAGLE is to be the subject of a feature film documentary. It will be produced by Dublin-based Julie le Brocquy, who co-produced the outspoken contemporary Afghan drama, Osama , which won the Golden Globe award for best foreign-language film in 2004. Ms le Brocquy is now actively seeking out a director for the documentary, to be titled Nano Nagle: The Lady with the Lantern, which she will produce.

Jhelum Art Exhibition
Friday, April 18th, was the culmination of many months of artistic activity in Presentation Convent School, Jhelum. The Art Exhibition was opened to the sound of the drum and the traditional throwing of petals on the guests.

Transfer of Trusteeship to CEIST
By the end of May, the trusteeship of all of the congregation's voluntary Catholic secondary schools in the Republic of Ireland will have been transferred to a new body, called CEIST (Catholic Education, an Irish Schools Trust). CEIST is a joint venture with the Mercy Sisters, the Sisters of the Christian Retreat, the Daughters of Charity and the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart. The schools of the Northern Province transfer at the end of May 2008.

The Irish Bishops' Conference recently launched the first Irish Pastoral Letter on Catholic Education. The Pastoral Letter opens with a number of relevant questions of a contemporary nature? Elizabeth Maxwell, PBVM, President of CORI, was at the launch.
