IPA Appointment

Sr. Fatima Rodrigo, from India, has been appointed as the IPA NGO representative for the United Nations. She will be based in New York and will take over from Sr. Sharon Altendorf later in the year. Sr Fatima is presently working as a justice contact person for the Indian Province.

We are grateful to Sr. Fatima for generously accepting to take on this challenging work. Her ministry at the UN will play a key role in furthering our mission to “hear the cry of earth heard most loudly in the cry of those made poor.”             (IPA Assembly 2007)

Reflection

"We need to be touched by the spirit of life; without amazement and enthusiasm nothing new can begin" (Dorothee Soelle,”The Silent Cry”). A reflection by Sr. Lisa Pires inspired by the writings of Judy Cannato.
