Celebrating 75 years at Mount St. Anne's Killenard

The recent celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of a novitiate in Mount St. Anne’s, Killenard, provided an opportunity to reflect on the truly impressive work by a remarkable bunch of women.

Foundress� Day Celebrated in Presentation Convent School Murree

For the next few months we will be featuring a different country of our Presentation Congregation to highlight what is happening in each country. We begin this month with the "Spot Light" on Pakistan.

The Presentation Story began here in 1895 when three sisters arrived in Rawalpindi from Madras. The first Mass was celebrated on 8th September 1895 and the school was opened on 1st October with ‘three Sisters, and three pupils’. Today there are over forty sisters engaged in a number of ministries. Our schools cater for over 10,000 pupils of all religions. The news story comes from the Presentation Convent School Muree.

RUAH team announces a New Intercongregational Programme which will take place in Ireland from 12 - 23 June 2011.

Monasterevin Revisited

The anniversary of Nano Nagle's death, 26 April, was also the occasion for a gathering of Sisters who have served the Congregation at Monasterevin in the years since Union.

8th Congregational Gathering - launched 11th June

On the Feast of the Sacred Heart on 11th June 2010 the 8th Congregational Gathering of the Union of Presentation Sisters was launched. The Theme for this Gathering is "Awakening to the Mystery of God"

Ten Year Review of the MDGs

One of the topics gaining momentum in the UN is the 10 year review of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). During the MDG Summit, 20 - 22 September 2010, it is hoped that the world leaders will make commitments to fulfill their promises.
